Inform Explorer FAQ

Q	Your FAQ doesn't answer my question. How do I get my questions answered?
A	Nothing easier! Simply e-mail me with your question and I'll be happy to reply to you. Obviously, any frequently asked questions will be posted here for others to see. So if you don't see the answer to your problem here, let me know.

Q	Will Inform Explorer be available for any non-Windows platform?
A	No. I do not intend to port Inform Explorer to any other platform.

Q	Are you going to continue developing and/or supporting Inform Explorer or is it going to be left to gather dust like all of the other Inform editors that I have tried?
A	Yes, I am going to continue to support Inform Explorer. As for development, well I guess we'll have to wait and see, but the features list of Inform Explorer is not yet what I want, so I shall continue to develop it further for now.

Q	I don't know how to program in Inform, will Inform Explorer help me with this?
A	Fankly, no. Inform Explorer is intended to be used by people already familiar with Inform, and is not intended to teach Inform in any way. That said, the object wizards included with the new version of IE will make it easier for a complete novice to generate a basic story file that should compile.
